ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

7:05 P.M. Old Business
The Board reviewed and then approved the minutes from March 13, 2003.
The Board reviewed a withdrawal notice from the Appellate Tax Board (ATB), for 885 General Edwards Highway, for their fiscal year 2002 appeal. No abatement was granted in exchange for their withdrawal.
The Board signed three copies of a contract for building permit assistance with David Cabral.
The Board reviewed and then approved, as amended, a letter to the Selectmen analyzing the financial implications of exemption warrant articles. It is an updated version of the 3/12/03 letter we sent to the Finance Committee.
The Administrative Assessor discussed the results of his 3/17/03 and 3/19/03 meetings with the Finance Committee, to discuss exemption warrant articles.
The Administrative Assessor discussed his planned appearance before the Selectmen on 4/1/03, to discuss exemption warrant articles.
7:35 P.M. New Business
The Board signed a revised assessment for parcel 111-1-2 for FY2003.
The property was valued incorrectly due to a clerical error.
The Board granted a clause 41A deferral exemption, for fiscal year 2003, for the owner of parcel #128-3.
The Board signed a tax deferral and recovery agreement and a statement
of entry into tax deferral and recovery agreement. These documents relate to the clause 41A exemption granted to the owner of parcel #128-3.
The Board was notified that the Administrative Assessor will be
presenting our capital outlay request for photographing buildings
townwide to the Capital Outlay Committee on 4/8/03.
The Board discussed the FY2003 abatement application related to the
hearing that has been scheduled for 7:20 P.M. April 3, 2003.
The Board will hold their next meeting at 7PM on April 3rd, 2003
